Key Responsibilities:
Stock Control & Warehouse Maintenance
- Maintain accurate stock records using the Intact Software System, including real-time updates on stock movements.
- Participation in regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or low-stock alerts to the Yard Manager, Gareth Spillane.
Goods In:
- Receive deliveries and check all incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Accurately log all incoming stock using the Intact System.
- Inspect goods for quality and damage and escalate any issues to the relevant department.
- Appropriately label and store received goods in designated locations within the warehouse.
Goods Out:
- Pick and pack pallets accurately and efficiently.
- Produce and verify packing lists and build orders using the Intact System.
- Build pallets for dispatch, ensuring safe, secure, and stable packaging for transport.
- Coordinate with transport teams or couriers to ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods.
- Ensure all outgoing deliveries are accompanied by the correct documentation and are labelled clearly and accurately.
Health & Safety:
- Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Follow all Health & Safety Procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse.
- Dispose of waste materials responsibly and assist with general housekeeping duties as required.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse role, ideally within the bathroom, tiling, or construction industry.
- Proficient in Intact Software System or similar systems for stock control and documentation.
- Ability to read and produce packing lists, build orders, and other stock movement documents.
- Skilled in pallet building and preparation of goods for safe dispatch.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Forklift License (desirable but not essential)
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality work.
- Team Player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
