Bathrooms4U are Ireland’s leader in commercial bathroom renovations, specialising in hotel bathroom and spa refurbishments. We are delighted to have worked with the beautiful Eccles Hotel in County Cork to help them with their hotel transformation.

The Eccles Hotel is the oldest purpose built hotel in Ireland, first constructed in 1745. Due to the history of the hotel, it was important to keep the integrity of the building while completing our renovation.

Bathrooms4U have been working with the Eccles Hotel for three years, working with General Manager David Manning to complete 70 bathrooms and refurbish the spa, helping to upgrade the hotel from a three-star to a four-star hotel.

B4U CEO Alan initially met David, taking a walk-through the hotel, brainstorming ideas and making recommendations based on our years of plumbing expertise. Due to the age of the hotel particular attention was paid to the older pipes in the walls and their placement.

The Eccles team were keen to keep the aesthetic of the historical hotel, meaning bathrooms must be modernised without compromising the overall look and feel to the space.

The ultimate goal of our Eccles transformation was to expand the bathrooms, while making them a more efficient space to use for our guests.

Our final project in the Eccles Hotel was the renovation of the beautiful Presidential Suite with the addition of a bespoke copper bath, a feature wall, a spacious walk-in shower, and double sinks, to name a few.
