The Bathroom Renovation Process
Getting Your Ducks In A Row

Planning is an essential part of preparing for a bathroom make-over. It is a key element in ensuring that the project goes smoothly and, just as importantly, that you end up with your dream bathroom without exceeding your budget.

You can start with a visit to one of our showrooms to view the range of bathrooms we have on offer or alternatively contact us to arrange a free in-home consultation. Often clients do both.

Our friendly staff are only too happy to share their experience and knowledge while guiding you through the wonderful array of complete packages B4U have on offer.

The B4U approach to creating dream bathrooms:

  • One fixed price – no extra charges
  • Expert bathroom design service
  • Proper disposal of old bathroom
  • Fully qualified, experienced tradespeople
  • No mess – minimum disturbance
  • A guaranteed completion date
  • One year guarantee on work and ware
  • Assistance with grant and loan applications
  • Registered contractor for the HRI scheme
Doing The Paperwork

After you have decided on what’s important to you in your bathroom design it’s time to move on to the next phase.

A B4U staff member will visit your home to survey your bathroom, take measurements, and discuss your preferred layout. Having an expert on site at this stage not only ensures that your new bathroom features what is important to you but also helps with a smooth efficient build.

From the information collected, we’ll draw up a set of plans which details all the features you’ve chosen and these are presented to you along with a fixed price.

This is a no-obligation quote and includes the cost of removing and proper disposal of your old bathroom along with all the plumbing, fitting, wiring and tiling required to install your new replacement.

If you like what you see and are happy to proceed we’ll draw up a contract and a work schedule. A 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking and 3/4 weeks is the normal lead-in time from contract signing to the commencement of work.

Getting Stuck In

Once we get the go ahead the B4U installation squad will strip out and properly dispose of your old bathroom before fitting your new luxury replacement.

Working to the highest standards, our fully qualified experienced tradespeople will complete all the work to the agreed work schedule, normally five days.

We’re very conscious of the upheaval renovations can cause, so our team operate in a thoughtful manner and reduce the disturbance to a minimum by treating each job as if they’re working in their own homes.

A project manager supervises all the work and continually liaises with the client throughout the refurbishment making sure that our highly skilled workforce deliver the very best standards of fit and finish.

Ticking Boxes And Turning Taps

At the end of the build, the B4U team does a thorough clean up, removing all packaging waste, off-cuts and any excess building materials.

It’s our company policy that when we leave your home your new bathroom is spick-and-span and ready to be enjoyed. As a final check, the project manager along with the client carefully inspect the work, item by item as they go along.

It is also a chance for the client to familiarize themselves with any new operational systems. Once both parties are satisfied they sign off on the job and the client pays the outstanding 50% balance.

Finally, you have your new bathroom to yourself so it’s time to take it for a test drive … enjoy.
