Over two million granted for upgrading homes of elderly and disabled in Kerry

Image result for mobility bathroom prettyKerry is to receive over 2.2 million euro towards improving the homes of older people and people with a disability.

Minister for Housing Simon Coveney announced funding of 1.7 million euro recently, while Kerry County Council will supplement this with €444,000 of their own resources.

The monies will help with building extensions, the adaption of housing and the installation of mobility aids, such as stairlifts and access ramps.
